This week I had a meeting with Gillian, head of Communications, Media and Marketing to discuss working with her on a new venture. As part of our job as a Job Ambassador we have one day a week we can use as a Personal Devolpment day so things I’ve already done is my Firstaid training, going out and getting a better understanding of more of the Prince’s Trust courses etc. it means that come the end of our 12 month contract we have developed our skills so that we wont be stuck. So as part as my Personal Development day I will be starting to work with Gillian for a few weeks.
On Wednesday I was through in Edinburgh at the National Youth Summit. I was there representing the Prince’s Trust and also to give my opinions on youth unemployment. It was a really good day, was great to hear from other young people and listen to there views and ideas.
Thursday morning I had WRAP (Workshop to Raise Awareness of Prevent) training which was held by the Police to raise awareness of terrorism. It was a really good training session and definelty something that everyone should do.
In the afternoon I had a half day to go and see Kiera’s Christmas show – which was amazing.
On Friday in the morning I was doing a school assembly, the full 20 minutes! Which went well. And then I was straight into another meeting discussing this new project starting soon with the Prince’s Trust.
Thats been my week :) can’t believe we are on week 10 already! Totally flew in.
